C9800-40 model description

Wireless network controllers are key units responsible for the management and configuration of access points and the transfer parameters. The most important functions that the device can provide are, among others: dynamic radio channel assignment, radio band management, interference detection, and avoidance.

The unit is able to react to changes occurring in the network and adjust the transfer parameters in a way that prevents the devices connected to the controller from interfering with themselves.

The controllers allow for the introduction of reliable security through authorization and authentication of access points. All these factors contribute to the control unit’s capability to provide secure and developing network infrastructure.
