Configuration and application

Cisco Catalyst 9105 access point is a device intended for small and medium-sized organizations. It comes in two versions: Cisco Catalyst 9105i and Catalyst 9105w with a built-in switch. It provides secure wireless and wired access for companies with employees working from home.

In combination with Cisco Digital Network Architecture (Cisco DNA), access points from Cisco Catalyst 9105 series are corporate-class products. They are the first step towards network update to better leverage all functions and benefits provided by Wi-Fi 6. Cisco User-Defined Network enables IT Departments to ensure end-users control over their own wireless network partitions in a shared network. End users are then able to remotely and safely deploy their devices in the network. Perfect for university dormitories or longer hospital stays, Cisco User-Defined Network provides both device security and control, allowing each user to choose who can connect with their network.

Cisco DNA subscription is required for customers who want to manage multiple EWC networks with Cisco DNA Center, for automation and ensuring security, or if they’re interested in advanced protection features (such as SMU, APSP, and APDP). Each access point connecting with Cisco DNA Center requires Cisco DNA license. Cisco DNA software supports three levels: Cisco DNA Essentials, Cisco DNA Advantage, and Cisco DNA Premier.
