    Network Operations Center - How do we work?

    Sometimes we hear: Try to automate everything. And we would rather say: try to automate smart.

    Grandmetric provides Managed Services for clients’ network infrastructures. We can count up to several dozen thousand managed devices and instances. Try to manage such a group of devices by jumping from one device to another! This is not only time-consuming but also error-prone.

    Manually update the NTP clock on 1500 switches in 3 minutes? Instant configuration backup, NTP change, local user, IOS update and 100 Linux machines with LVM – device by device? It can’t be done this way. In turn, automation of the NTP process for a single switch operating in a small network? This may not be reasonable and may take more time than doing it once by hand. The reason behind automation in scale is obvious and this is smart.

    Using patterns where we are dealing with economies of scale is an intelligent approach to automation. Thanks to it, we can provide the best network services.
